Al-Hilal tries, Victor Osimhen thinks about it: details of the sensational offer
Al-Hilal swoops in on Victor Osimhen, Napoli trembles
Arab sirens have come to tempt even the top scorer of the last Serie A, Victor Osimhen, with a mind-boggling offer: in fact, Al-Hilal, one of the four clubs participated in by the PIF fund, is reportedly willing to spend 140 million euros for the Nigerian footballer’s card, who would be made to sign a 60 million-a-season contract.
Reporting the Saudi club’s interest is ‘Sky Sport Uk,’ according to which the aim would be to take advantage of the stalemate in the contract renewal negotiations, on whose figures there is only a verbal understanding between the striker’s entourage and the Neapolitan management, but no black-and-white agreement.
The news, inevitably, rattles the environment of the Italian champions, whose market has so far been limited to minor operations such as the redemptions of Giacomo Raspadori and Giovanni Simeone, while on the outgoing side it has already recorded the goodbyes of Kim Min-jae (sold to Bayern), Bartosz Bereszynski and Tanguy Ndombele (end of loan for both).
Osimhen arrived at Napoli in 2020 as part of a €70 million deal that made the Nigerian the most expensive purchase ever for the Campania club. With the Napoli shirt, in three seasons, Osimhen played 101 games between league and cups, scoring 59 goals (31 last season alone).
