Sampdoria beats Entella in comeback
Fifth win out of five preseason matches for Andrea Pirlo’s new Sampdoria team, which beat Entella, a Chiavari-based team that plays in Serie C, 3-1 in a comeback at the Mugnaini Sports Center field in Bogliasco.
After the guests’ momentary lead through Zamparo in the 17th minute, the Blucerchiati reacted and within two minutes equalized through Askildsen, who was good at taking advantage of Delle Monache’s assist to beat De Lucia.
Usual pinwheel of changes at halftime, typical of summer soccer, but Sampdoria did not lose its rhythm: at 69′ a clamorous mistake by the guest defense and Vieira’s touch in the net, followed by Borini’s penalty kick at 79′ awarded for a foul against Malagrida.
