Inter-Sommer: this is it

Inter strikes an important market blow. After several weeks of negotiations, in fact, the Nerazzurri have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for the transfer of Yann Sommer, a Swiss goalkeeper born in 1988.

According to reports from “La Gazzetta dello Sport,” the Milanese club has reached an agreement with the Bavarians on the basis of an offer of 6 million euros, payable in two financial years. The player is reportedly already expected in Italy by early next week to undergo medical examinations and sign the new contract.

In the six months he played with Bayern Munich, the Swiss defender made 26 appearances while conceding 31 goals.

Having resolved the goalkeeper issue, the priority for Inter will be a reinforcement in the offensive phase, with Gianluca Scamacca being the main candidate. However, on the former Sassuolo striker would be in strong pressure Atalanta, which would put on the plate an offer around 30 million euros to convince West Ham and try to overtake the meneghini.

From next July 1, it will be possible to deposit the contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
