Ducati centaur Johann Zarco is not ruling out a future at Honda: the French rider has reportedly been in contact with Lucio Cecchinello’s team.

“Ducati is the bike to get on now, it’s the best and you can see it on the track. However, joining LCR is not a crazy idea because it’s still a Honda,” the French centaur told The-Race. “If Honda comes to you and wants you as an experienced rider, it’s not a crazy idea. But right now my results are good enough to think about Ducati and Pramac.”

“I would be proud to be the right rider to contribute to Honda, because I couldn’t do it in KTM even though my indications were good. I was not ready for that position and made the decision to come to Ducati, but now that the maturity is different, why not?”

No landing in Superbike: “I have no intention of going there.”
