Milan, reserves disappoint with Trento

The Rossoneri returned to the pitch at Milanello in the aftermath of their penalty shootout success against Monza in the first Silvio Berlusconi Trophy. In the afternoon, the starters from the U-Power Stadium challenge did unloading work in the gym while the rest of the team played a test against Trento. This was the initial lineup of the Rossoneri team: Sportiello; Florenzi, Kjær, SimiÄ, Bartesaghi; Adli, Musah, Pobega; Chukwueze, Colombo, Romero. The youngsters Jiménez, Nsiala, Traorè, Eletu, Zeroli and Camarda then took over in the second half.

In the first half the Rossoneri went close to scoring with Colombo on two occasions, first with a header and then from a good position with a left-footed shot. Trento’s goalkeeper Russo was decisive on Romero and Adli in the 37th minute, and in the final part of the fraction Florenzi twice came close to scoring, served by Chukwueze on the second attempt. The second half begins with two more chances of our own, on Kjær’s header and Colombo’s left. Trento finds some space on the counterattack and scores with Sipos in the 69th minute. In the final minutes Traorè also tried, always finding Russo’s gloves. Training for the Rossoneri continues and a morning session is scheduled tomorrow, Thursday, August 10.
