Genoa and Cagliari ready to arm wrestle for striker
Genoa and Cagliari interested in Lorenzo Colombo
Lorenzo Colombo is the new target for the attack of Genoa and Cagliari, which in these intense days of summer soccer are working to reinforce the rosters at the disposal, respectively, of Alberto Gilardino and Claudio Ranieri.
According to ‘Sportmediaset’ reports, the Ligurian club after having almost secured the performance of Messias (the negotiation is in the details) would have also asked Milan for information about the young striker who last season contributed to Lecce’s salvation, although they already have important names in the squad such as Retegui and Gudmundsson.
Cagliari, on the other hand, would choose Colombo to make up for the prolonged absence of Gianluca Lapadula, who was injured during preparation and forced to a long stop: Colombo would provide another alternative, in addition to promotion hero Leonardo Pavoletti, so as not to remain uncovered in attack.
Negotiations are, however, both only at the beginning and will continue in the coming days: an upside game is not excluded, perhaps with the inclusion of technical quid pro quo or other details at the level of economic bonuses to convince the Rossoneri management.
