Pesaro announces fifth long: ‘They call him Pogba’

Vuelle Pesaro executive Walter Magnifico in an interview with Il Resto del Carlino announced the arrival of Elhadji Brehima Fainke, who will cover the role of fifth long in the first team, and will be part of the Under 19 Eccellenza group.

“We took a 2005 boy originally from Mali, 2.05 tall, who has been growing up in Fidenza’s youth academy for the past four years, with which he also made his debut in the B series.”

“His name is Elhadji Brehima Fainke, but they call him Pogba because of his resemblance to the footballer. He will be the new Mamadou Dia, whom we thank for what he has given us.”

Magnifico also commented on the return of Valerio Mazzola: “I hear from him often, Valerio is a guy who has a formidable knowledge of himself and his body. He has faced the recovery period with great professionalism, now we don’t have to rush but to reintegrate him slowly so that he can return to being instrumental for us.”
