VR46, Luca Marini reveals a detail that makes a difference in Spielberg
Luca Marini’s words ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix
Luca Marini arrives at the Austrian Grand Prix in seventh place in the overall standings, on 107 points. Valentino Rossi’s brother goes after his second podium finish of the season at the Red Bull Ring.
After a bittersweet weekend in Britain Luca, always consistently in the Top10 at the end of the race, is working to return to play a leading role in Austria and thus hit the podium on a track that suits his style and his bike well (podium in Moto2 ed.).
“Like every GP, it will be crucial to have a good pace right away from Friday’s free practice,” stressed the Mooney VR46 Racing Team. We will work to take a step forward compared to Silverstone, always with an eye on the weather and to be able to set the bike in such a way as to be able to break strong. Qualifying will be crucial: this Spielberg track is perhaps the one where the front tire pressure goes up the most, and the goal is to stay as far ahead as possible and always with a clear road. The feeling is good, the gaps will be minimal, but I have always been competitive here and so has Ducati.”
