Marc Marquez makes an announcement about his own future

The summer has brought advice and Marc Marquez does not seem to have been attracted by the sirens of other teams. This, at least, is what can be inferred from the words of the Spaniard, who did not show up at Silverstone at 100 percent physically but with very clear ideas. It seems that the idea of seeing the multiple world champion on a different bike in 2024 has definitely gone. “For next year I signed a contract with Honda,” he stressed, “The goal is to keep trying to improve the bike. If you want to do well in 2024, you have to work effectively in 2023. In 2024 we have to be able to dig out the best for Honda and for me to be able to fight for the world championship title.”

“During the vacations I had a lot of time to think,” he added, “My approach in the first part of the season was not the right one. We focused on trying to fight for the title. In the second part of the championship we will be more realistic and work with an eye toward the future.”

A possible move to KTM has long been rumored for Marquez. At least for 2024…
