Ruslan Malinovskyi is ready to return to Italy. According to reports from Telenord, Genoa is one step closer to closing negotiations with Olympique Marseille for the Ukrainian trequartista’s transfer.

The deal is expected to materialize on the basis of a loan with right of redemption for a total sum between 12 and 15 million euros. Only a few details are missing to formalize the deal, but the former Atalanta man is expected in Genoa to undergo medical examinations and sign the contract.

Malinovskyi has also been followed by Torino and Bologna, but the Rossoblù have beaten the competition and are ready to give a new reinforcement in the offensive department to coach Gilardino, after the purchases of Retegui and Messias.
