Reyer, Spahija: “More aggressive and versatile.”

Reyer Venezia coach Neven Spahija presented the 2023/2024 season: “I am very happy, it is my first season from the beginning and I have a lot of desire to work and enthusiasm. I have chosen the players, I am prepared for this responsibility. We have changed seven players, we are younger and have balance between youth and experience, there is the right mix.”

“This team I did not build alone, and I want to thank my colleagues starting with Mauro Sartori, Eugenio Dalmasson, and President Federico Casarin. We watched hours and hours of video to choose the right athletes. So we have young players, the youngest is Davide, but he has already played in Serie A.”

“The style of play will be the same, we will have to raise the level defensively, putting more aggression. That has to be our mentality. Versatility of players has always been a prerogative of my teams, athletes who can cover positions.”
