From’Hertha Berlin, Hellas Verona has acquired on a temporary basis until 30/06/2024 with option right the sports performance of midfielder Suat Serdar.

Born on April 11, 1997 in Bingen, he made his professional football debut in the 2015/2016 season in the German third division in a match between Mainz 05 II and Stuttgart II, which ended 1-1. Three days later he made his Bundesliga debut with the Mainz 05 first team in a 3-1 win over’Hoffenheim.

After three seasons at Mainz 05 in which Serdar collected 54 appearances and 3 goals between Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and Europa League, the midfielder moved to Schalke 04, a team in which he played for three seasons, until the 2020-21 season. With the team from Gelsenkirchen, he totaled 83 appearances between Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and Champions League, also scoring 11 goals.

Last season Serdar moved to Hertha BSC, finishing the year with 34 appearances in the season, scoring 3 goals.

The midfielder also counts 39 appearances and 6 goals with the German youth national teams, from the’Under 16 to the’Under 21, as well as 4 appearances with the Germany senior national team, with whom he made his debut on October 9, 2019 in a’friendly against Argentina.
