Juvecaserta mourns the passing of young Rosario De Felice

Almost three lustra later, the car accident involving Juvecaserta under15s in Buccino marked another serious bereavement. Tonight, following a respiratory crisis, passed away Rosario De Felice, one of the two boys who survived the November 2008 crash, who was quadriplegic precisely as a result of the consequences of the tragic road accident in which Manuela Gallicola, Gianluca Noia, Luigi and Paolo Mercaldo lost their lives. 

“President Francesco Farinaro and Juvecaserta 2021, deeply affected by the sad news, tighten in an affectionate embrace the De Felice family, remembering in this painful moment his constant presence at the games of the bianconera team, confirming the great love for basketball that had marked Rosario’s life even after the consequences of the tragic accident in Buccino” reads the note of the Campania club.

The’last farewell tomorrow, at 3:30 p.m., at the Church of St. Mary of the Angels in S. Nicola la Strada.
