Genoa, close to the arrival of Kotlu from Galatasaray

Genoa is reportedly close to closing in on a major midfield reinforcement. After seeing the Ndombele swoop from Tottenham fade away, according to reports from "Sky Sport", the Rossoblù are reportedly one step closer to Berkan Kotlu, a Turkish midfielder born in 1998 from Galatasaray.

The Grifone reportedly reached an agreement with the Turkish club on the basis of a loan with a right of redemption set at 3.5 million euros. The player would be expected in Italy already in the coming days to undergo medical examinations and sign the new contract.

In his two seasons with Galatasaray Kotlu’s jersey, he totaled 84 appearances topped by one goal and five assists between league and cups.

As of next July 1, it will be possible to deposit contracts for players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
