Primoz Roglic wins eighth stage of Vuelta, Sepp Kuss new leader
Primoz Roglic (Jumbo Visma) sprinted to victory in the eighth stage of the Vuelta a Espana, the 165-kilometer Dénia-Xorret de Catì beating Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick-Step) and Juan Ayuso (UAE Team Emirates) in the last meters.
For the 33-year-old Slovenian, triumphant in the last Giro d’Italia and hunting for his fourth success in the great Spanish stage race, è his 13th success of the season. Today’s stage featured five Grands Prix de la Montagne, the last with 3.3 kilometers to go.
