Marc Marquez dejected: ‘You suffer all the time,’ then promise to Honda
Another very complicated Sunday, accompanied forò by the apparent desire not to abandon ship yet.
Marc Marquez ended his home race, the Catalan Grand Prix, in a bitter 13th place despite the incidents that characterized Sunday in Montmelò. And in his end-of-race analysis è evident all the frustration over a crisis that will not be resolved, but also the willà to do what he can for his Honda.
"Racing like thisì one does not enjoy it at all. In fact, you suffer all the time,” Marquez explained.
You try to appeal to the spirit of sacrifice, the effort, the sense of routine. But the race seems to take forever. I go in spurts, when they overtake me I try to fight back. At least that gives me the feeling of having tried. Then if I get to push, però comes the feeling of pushing the limits. And thus run the risk of falling".
On the future, then, Marquez spoke clearly: "I am quite convinced of what I want to do. That is to look for the best possible solution for the Honda project. I want to work, improve, get on track for the Misano test and build something. I want to give them the best possible information and find the best possible compromise ahead of 2024. I look forward to seeing the bike to grow for next year".
