New adventure for Dejan Stankovic

New adventure for Dejan Stankovic. The Serbian coach, who coached Sampdoria last season and failed to prevent the Blucerchiati from relegation to Serie B, will start again from Hungary. Stankovic will in fact coach Ferencvaros. It was announced by the Hungarian club itself via a video posted on its social channels.

The former Inter Milan player takes the place of Russian Chercesov, who was exonerated in July after a disappointing elimination in the first round in the Champions League qualifiers against Klaskvik. The Hungarians will be featured in the Conference League, where they have been placed in the same group as Fiorentina ( completing Group F are Genk and Cukaricki, ed.).

For Stankovic this will be his third coaching experience after those with Red Star and Sampdoria; with the Serbian club he won three domestic championships and two cups. Before that, between 2014 and 2016, he had worked as a technical collaborator for Udinese and Inter.
