Nine months have passed since Cristiano Ronaldo's landing in the Saudi Professional League, a move that paved the way for those of numerous top footballers, including Neymar, Sadio Mané, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic just to name a few, who this summer decided to espouse the cause of the Saudi league.
From the retreat of the Portuguese national team, CR7 è returned to talk about his choice without mincing words: "The growth of the Saudi league? I knew it would go like thisì but when I said it months ago, everyone thought I had gone crazy".
"After all, though, I wasn't that crazy to make such a decision, other great players made it and now it's a normal thing,” added the former Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus player.
