Vuelta 2023, Juan Sebastian Molano wins in Zaragoza

It's Juan Sebastian Molano the winner of the twelfth stage of the Vuelta a España 2023, from Olvega to Zaragoza of 151 kilometers. The Colombian rider of UAE Team Emirates sprinted ahead of Kaden Groves (Alpecin-Deceuninck) and Boy van Poppel (Intermarché-Circus-Wanty).

"Today the team worked for me – the words of Molano reported by 'CyclingPro' – Everything è went as we had planned during the morning meeting. At the’last left turn we had to be already in the lead, stick to the barriers and get the sprint".

Then a special dedication: "I didn’t know there were soì many Colombian fans at the finish line,” he said. “They often come to Spanish races and I am grateful to them for their support. I could hear the fans screaming my name. This success è also for them and I hope they enjoy this victory".

The Vuelta continues Friday with the fearsome stage with trespassing in France and arrival on the Tourmalet: in the general classification commands the American Sepp Kuss (Jumbo-Visma), with 26" over Marc Soler (UAE Team Emirates) and 1'09" over Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick-Step).
