Julian Nagelsmann close to Germany’s bench
Following Hans Flick's dismissal as Germany coach, complicit in only four wins in the last 17 outings, the German soccer federation is reportedly already working to find a replacement for the former Bayern Munich coach.
According to a report by "The Bild", the federation has reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Julian Nagelsmann, who is set to sign a contract until the 2024 European Championships at 4 million euros a year. The former Leipzig man would be ready to terminate his contract with Bayern Munich in order to accept the national team.
With great possibility, the 36-year-old coach's debut should come on Oct. 14 in the friendly in East Hartford, Connecticut against the United States.
