They have been rivals for years, but now between them to dominate è mutual esteem.

Lewis Hamilton praises Sebastian Vettel, no longer an opponent on Formula 1 tracks but a former colleague whose battles he shares that the German has decided to espouse for years. The former Red Bull and Ferrari driver è returned to the paddock at Suzuka, but not out of nostalgia for the track. In fact, he presented a new environmental initiative that earned him compliments from Mercedes's standard bearer.

In fact, Vettel opened a real "hotel for bees" on the Japanese circuit, precisely near Suzuka Turn 2. This is not a novelty, since already in the past season he had several times expressed his intention to raise awareness among the Formula 1 public about biodiversity and in particular the preservation of bees. He had done so as an Aston Martin driver, attracting the interest of Hamilton, who meanwhile reiterated his esteem for him.

"The fact that Vettel came back among us this weekend è wonderful,” Hamilton told the press present at Suzuka. “He è sat down with us and laid out his plans. He found a wonderful mission, and that in my opinion è fantastic. I honestly don’t know any other driver in the history of Formula 1 who has ever shown this level of attention to the problems of the world".

"Seb è unique, and I hope that with his actions he inspires other drivers to do something similar. We should all join forces to have a positive impact on this world", Hamilton concluded.
