Inter, tests confirm: Arnautovic out for long. Three solutions for Inzaghi
Marko Arnautovic's injury è the discordant note of Inter's excellent start to the season: the Austrian striker è underwent at Humanitas in Rozzano some tests after the muscle problem suffered against Empoli, which confirmed that the player will have to stop for quite some time, at least until mid-November.
"Marko Arnautovic è underwent instrumental examinations this morning at the Humanitas Clinical Institute in Rozzano. The Nerazzurri striker sustained a medium muscular distraction at the myotendinous junction of the left thigh biceps femoris. His condition will be re-evaluated in the coming weeks".
The battery of strikers available to Simone Inzaghi is thus reduced to Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram and Alexis Sanchez, with the Chilean still far from his best condition.
Excluding the use of free agents, Inzaghi on occasion could move Mkhitaryan or Klaassen to a more advanced position, so as to give respite to the Lautaro-Thuram pairing. A reinforcement could also come from the Primavera: class of 2004 Amadou Sarr could be employed for some matches.
