Battle between Frosinone and Fiorentina

The match of the sixth day of Serie A between Frosinone and Fiorentina, held at the Stadio Benito Stirpe, è ended in a 1-1 draw. Di Francesco fielded a 4-3-3 while Italiano opted for a 4-2-3-1. The first half è was characterized by a fast pace. Fiorentina was in control of the game from the start, with Sottil attempting a shot that was blocked by the Frosinone defense as early as 2° minute.

Despite Fiorentina’s pressure, Frosinone è managed to resist, although it conceded several corner kicks. The only goal of the first half è came on 19’, when Nico González scored from a header for Fiorentina on an assist from Duncan. The match è was interrupted twice due to injuries to González and Viola captain Biraghi.

In the second half, Fiorentina had to give up Biraghi, who was replaced by Michael Kayode. Despite the loss, the guests kept up the pressure. However, Frosinone did not give up and continued to fight, trying to equalize the score. Their effort è was rewarded when Soulé equalized in the 70’with Soulé who header deflected a Caso cross into the goal. 

1-1 final then, with Fiorentina rising to 11 points and Frosinone continuing its positive streak by reaching 9 points and five games without defeat.
