Thago Motta does not hide his disappointment

Thiago Motta, Bologna coach, commented with calm bitterness on the outcome of the match played by the Rossoblù on the Monza field, referring to the goal cancelled to Ferguson at the beginning of the second half and the expulsion in the final of Saelemaekers.

"I feel sorry for the referee because what I saw today è impossible to digest – said the Emilian club's coach. Even now I should go home, but I struggle to control myself. I would not like to be in his place, è as if I sent ten men on the field instead of eleven. Some mistakes cannot be made at this level. I really feel sorry for him".

On the red to the Belgian footballer: "Difficult to digest, I was wrong for the yellow and Saelemaekers was also wrong, but it hurts me the injustice. Alexis è high level, when è came in he did very well. I am sorry for his expulsion, even he knows he made a mistake".

On the episodes that Motta said would have penalized Bologna in the first outings of this season: "It doesn&#39t cross my mind that there is a plan against Bologna but I would like to have the right attention, also for our fans. Four episodes in six matches…".

However, the coach was satisfied with the performance: " It was an open game, with two teams that play good soccer and defend well. Monza plays well, has a good coach, like Bologna è a team that knows what it wants".
