Ternana’s clear victory over Reggiana

Ternana hosted Reggiana at the Stadio Libero Liberati in today’s last match of the eighth day of Serie B that saw the home team dominate the field and win 3-0. The two teams lined up with a 3-4-1-2 and 4-3-1-2 formation, respectively, with coaches Cristiano Lucarelli and Alessandro Nesta leading their respective teams.

The match è started with a fast pace, with Ternana scoring two goals in quick succession in the first 11 minutes thanks to Celli and Diakité. The latter also provided the assist for the first goal. However, the match è was marked by a series of injuries that forced both teams to make substitutions: Portanova and Favilli were replaced by Gondo and Dionisi, respectively.

During the course of the match, several cautions were handed out: Dionisi, Celli, Luperini and Iannarilli of Ternana, Gondo, Sampirisi and Kabashi of Reggiana. Despite this, the hosts maintained control of the match, scoring a third goal in the recovery thanks to Distefano.
