Lecce shingles, Roberto D’Aversa loses a midfielder
Lecce tile, c'è injury for Alexis Blin
After the heavy knock against Napoli, more bad news comes from the infirmary for Roberto D'Aversa. The Giallorossi coach, in fact, will have to do without Alexis Blin for more than a month. The French midfielder, after coming off early in the match against the partenopei, suffered a partial plantar fascia injury.
"U.S.Lecce announces that footballer Alexis Blin è underwent magnetic resonance imaging this morning at Studio Radiologico Quarta Colosso in Lecce, which showed a partial injury of the plantar fascia on the calcaneal insertion of the left foot.
The prognosis è of 30/40 days" this is the statement issued by the Giallorossi club.
At the end of last season Napoli è boasted the title of champion of Italy, the third in its history. In the previous two years the scudetto had been won by Milanese teams, first Inter and then AC Milan. Before that, for nine seasons in a row, it had gone to Juventus, which was able to win it with first Antonio Conte on the bench (three successes for the Salento native), then Massimiliano Allegri (five) and then Maurizio Sarri, who però was then replaced by Andrea Pirlo. At the beginning of the millennium, before the’exploit of Spalletti’s Napoli, the last two Scudettos had come from teams with non-vertical striped jerseys: Lazio won it in 2000, Roma in 2001.
