Genoa, Gudmundsson is already a man in the market: two clubs want him in January
Gudmundsson in the sights of Roma and Napoli
Albert Gudmundsson’s brilliant performance with the Genoa shirt has certainly not gone unnoticed in these first seven days of the championship: the Icelandic striker, as reported 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', would already have tickled the fancies of Roma and Napoli, ready to sink the blow already in January.
Just against Roma, Gudmundsson è scored in the match won by the Grifone against the Giallorossi 4-1, while three days later è was important, thanks to a brace, so that genoa did not come out defeated from the field of Udinese (2-2 the final result).
Against Napoli on Sept. 16, on the other hand, the Icelander did not score but still played an important role in the 2-2 draw with which the Rossoblù blocked the reigning Italian champions, who were able to snatch the point at Marassi only in the final stage of the match, coming back from 0-2.
The idea of both clubs concerned è to make a bid for the January market: both are in fact looking for a striker capable of taking pressure off the main offensive reference, Lukaku for Roma and Osimhen for Napoli.
