Marc Marquez-Ducati: Pablo Nieto doesn’t mince words
Pablo Nieto open-hearted about Marc Marquez's landing in Ducati
A few days before the Indonesia GP, Ducati VR46 team manager Pablo Nieto è expressed himself in no uncertain terms on Marc Marquez's farewell to Honda and his imminent arrival at Ducati of team Gresini.
"When a rider comes with characteristics like Marc Marquez has, he obviously comes to win and he will want to try to have the best. It's logical and normal for a rider of that caliber to come. When you have an already created atmosphere like the one at Ducati, putting another rooster in that henhouse will not be an easy thing" began the Ducati VR46 team manager as you can read on "Corsedimoto".
"I think Marc is one of the fastest riders on the grid right now. We have to see how he will adaptà to the bike, but I don’t think he will haveà many problems. Maybe he'll struggle a little bit more to adapt to the new team, because heé not è sure that he will bring his technical team, which è has been with him for so many years. And in the end, when you make such a radical and big change, you might have some perplexity,” added the former Spanish centaur.
"I think he will see" a lot of difference between the limits that Honda had and those that this bike does not have. Right now the Ducati è a very balanced bike: fast, stable and very agile" concluded Pablo Nieto.
