Routed the route of the Giro d'Italia 2024

At a ceremony held in Trento on Friday, the veil was lifted on the map showing the 21 stages of the Giro d'Italia: next year’s Corsa Rosa will start, as already announced in recent days, from Venaria Reale on Saturday, May 4, 2024 (it will be Piedmont to host the first stage, in which the "Invincibili" of the Grande Torino, who perished in the Superga massacre, will be remembered) and then end in Rome on Sunday, May 26.

The 107th edition of the Giro includes six "flat" stages particularly suited to sprinters, two time trials totaling 68.2 kilometers (both individual), five mountain fractions with four uphill finishes, as well as eight moving and treacherous stages suitable for breakaways. The total route è is 3,321.2 kilometers long, the Cima Coppi will be the Stelvio Pass, with its 2,758 meters of altitude. Also planned is the Bartali Stage with part of the route on dirt roads, from Viareggio to Rapolano Terme.

May 14 – 10th stage – Pompeii-Cusano Mutri (Bocca della Selva), 141 km;
May 15 – 11th stage – Foiano di Valfortore-Francavilla al Mare, 203 km;
