The words of Neven Spahija at the press conference

Saturday Oct. 14 at 8:30 p.m. Reyer Venezia will be engaged in the advance of the third day of the championship. At Palasport Taliercio comes Vanoli Cremona, newly promoted back to Serie A after only one season in A2. In the first two days the Lombardi picked up a loss, to Trento, and a win against Sassari in their home debut, 86-74 (Denegri and Lacey 16, Adrian 14). The Orogranata, with full points, are looking for a success to give continuity to their ranking and team growth.

There are 24 victories for Reyer against Vanoli’s 9 in the precedents between the two companies. Venice and Cremona have also faced each other in several playoff series, including the scudetto semifinal in 2019 won by the orogranata in the decisive Game 5. There'è no ex of the match.

Coach Neven Spahija spoke this way in the press conference: "We have seen the two championship games and other preseason games played by Cremona. They play a beautiful basketball scoring a lot of points and that is why we have to play with our defensive philosophy in every possession. We will see who on our side can take the court, as of today we cannot say. But we have to be positive and use every minute on the parquet to learn and improve. We are playing at home, there are no excuses, we have to bring out the best from the roster that will beà available to play".
