Juventus: seven-month disqualification for Nicolò Fagioli
Nicolò Fagioli starà away from the playing fields for 7 months: this is the provision of the Figc Prosecutor’s Office, which reached an agreement with the Juventus midfielder. Fagioli è been disqualified 12 months, 5 of which were commuted to alternative prescriptions.
"The Federal Prosecutor’s Office has reached an agreement (ex art. 126 CGS) with the footballer Nicolò Fagioli as a result of which the same will be sanctioned with a 12-month disqualification, 5 of which commuted to alternative prescriptions, and a fine of 12,500 euros, for violation of’art.24 of the CGS, which prohibits the possibility of making bets on football events organized by FIGC, UEFA and FIFA".
"Regarding alternative prescriptions, Fagioli will have to participate in a therapeutic plan lasting at least 6 months and a cycle of at least 10 public meetings, to be held over a period of 5 months, at Amateur Sports Associations, Territorial Federal Centers, Centers for recovery from gambling addiction, and in any case according to the indications and program proposed by the FIGC".
"The Federal Prosecutor’s Office shall monitor compliance with the above and, in case of violations, shall take the measures within its competence, pursuant to the CGS, with termination of the’agreement and continuation of the disciplinary proceedings before the Judicial Bodies of Sports Justice".
