Rugby World Cup, no surprises: All Blacks in final
Rugby World Cup, Argentina-New Zealand 6-44
With a performance bordering on perfection, New Zealand defeated Argentina 44-6 in the first of the two semifinals of the Rugby World Cup being held in France.
Illusory the 3-0 sealed by the Pumas thanks to a Boffelli penalty at the 5': the New Zealand response è vehement and è entrusted to the goals of Will Jordan (11'), Jordie Barrett (16') and Shannon Frizell (40'), useful to close the first half on 20-6 (in between another Boffelli penalty, a transformation and a Mo'unga penalty).
In the second half, the All Blacks monologue continued: Aaron Smith (42'), Frizell again (49') and Jordan (62') sign three more goals, Mo'unga transforms two and the accounts are practically closed. Ten minutes on the penalty bench for Scott Barrett, between 65' and 75' was not enough, indeed: Jordan scored a hat trick in the final and New Zealand won 44-6, returning to the World Cup final after missing it in 2019.
