Marco Bezzecchi got the’direct access to Q2 at the end of the free practice of the Grand Prix d'Australia running this weekend in Phillip Island.
The centaur of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, still recovering from his collarbone injury, set the sixth fastest time overall, stopping the clock at 1'28.368.
As per the new schedule -due to adverse weather forecast for Sunday, with showers and strong gusts of wind – the Australian GP will be run on Saturday at 3.10 p.m. local time, while the Sprint è moved to Sunday at 2 p.m.
"In general today è went well, I struggle in the changes of direction, at the level of the shoulder I mean – said Bezzecchi to the official channels of the team -. On the bike there are some aspects to improve, in some sections è very nervous, but in general the feelings are positive. Also at the driving level I can make a step. The schedule change is not è bad, primarily for our safety and also the show. Tomorrow I will certainly beè less tired than on Sunday, and this over the long distance may be a’facilitation".
