ATP Vienna, draw gives Jannik Sinner a chance for revenge
Jannik Sinner-Ben Shelton, è rematch in Vienna
The main draw pairings for the Vienna ATP tournament, which also features Jannik Sinner, the No. 2 seed, Lorenzo Musetti and Matteo Arnaldi, in the starting ribbons, were unveiled on Saturday.
The draw will give Sinner a golden opportunity for revenge: his opponent in the first round will in fact be Ben Shelton, the South Tyrolean's executioner in the Shanghai tournament, who was able to bounce back from a start of the match all in favor of the Italian to go on to win 2-6, 6-3, 7-6(5).
Far from benevolent, however, è the first round draw of Lorenzo Musetti, who will face one of the most in-form tennis players of the moment, that Grigor Dimitrov capable of reaching the final in Shanghai after beating, among others, Karen Khachanov and especially Carlos Alcaraz.
Arnaldi, on the other hand, will have to wait for the outcome of the qualifiers to know the opponent he will face in the first round: the 2001 class è però in a rather difficult side of the draw, which sees the presence of, among others, Andrey Rublev and Sascha Zverev.
