Milan, Sacchi flunks Rafael Leao: "Must stay out"
Former Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi advises Stefano Pioli ahead of the big league match against Juventus: "Rafael Leao I would keep him out. For one or two games I would leave him on the bench", he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Before buying a player, I would look a lot at the person. He would have so much, so much, and I think he is absolutely a good guy, but in soccer you play in eleven and everybody has to run as well as have a position on the field. Everyone was running at our place. Once Allodi called me and said, ‘Arrigo, I see you are running Virdis. Then you are good bravo bravo bravo’".
Sacchi, on the other hand, praised other elements of the Rossoneri’s roster: "Pulisic doesn’t move badly. If è intelligent as they say, perfect. Soccer will be more and more; a collective game of intelligence";
"I really like Reijnders, è very good, è complete, reads the game, moves a lot. Milan this year has good players: even Loftus-Cheek, as long as heé è has been available, è been powerful, has strength".
