The blue lineups for the World Cup opening giants in Soelden
The Italian Winter Sports Federation between yesterday and today released the list of those who will take part in the opening giants of the 2023-2024 World Cup in Soelden.
On Saturday on the Rettenbach glacier in the women’s giant slalom it will be the turn of seven girls: Marta Bassino, Federica Brignone, Elena Curtoni, Sofia Goggia, Roberta Melesi, Elisa Platino (who has a permanent place for having placed third in the specialty ranking of the past European Cup) and Asja Zenere.
On Sunday, however, the men’s giant slalom will feature eight boys: Giovanni Borsotti, Luca De Aliprandini, Filippo Della Vite, Giovanni Franzoni, Tobias Kastlunger, Simon Maurberger, Alex Vinatzer and Hannes Zingerle. The two heats are scheduled at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. for both races.
