Milan defeated, dry and last
The Parc des Princes in Paris hosted one of the most anticipated matches of the season, Paris Saint Germain versus AC Milan. The two teams faced each other in a match that saw PSG dominate, winning with a result of 3-0.
The first half è began with a frantic pace. Already in the 4° minute, Malick Thiaw of Milan received a yellow card for a foul committed. Despite this, Milan continued to fight, earning several free kicks in defense thanks to Christian Pulisic and Rade Krunic. However, in the 32° minute, Kylian Mbappé of PSG broke the tie with a precise shot from the center of the box, assisted by Warren Zaïre-Emery, bringing the score to 1-0.
The second half saw Davide Calabria enter the field in place of Malick Thiaw for Milan. Despite Milan attempts to equalize, PSG doubled the lead in the 53° minute with a goal by Randal Kolo Muani, assisted by Ousmane Dembélé. Milan tried to fight back, with Christian Pulisic creating several scoring chances, but to no avail.
During the second half, there were several changes in the formations. In the 71° minute, Fabián Ruiz è entered in place of Manuel Ugarte for PSG, while Lee Kang-In replaced Ousmane Dembé. For AC Milan, Yacine Adli and Tommaso Pobega entered in place of Rade Krunic and Yunus Musah respectively. These changes added new energy to the teams, but failed to change the course of the match.
In the final 89° minute of the match, PSG’s Lee Kang-In scored the third goal, assisted by Warren Zaïre-Emery, sealing the victory for PSG. Despite Milan’s attempts to narrow the gap, PSG held its defense, bringing the match to a conclusion with a score of 3-0.
Milan in the standings now è last on two points and although they have yet to score a goal and in the running for qualification, two points away after Borussia Dortmund’s success at home to Newcastle.
