F1, Mexico GP: Max Verstappen also dominates FP2
He bodes well for the race pace of the Red
After being the fastest in FP1, Verstappen è also repeated himself in the second free practice session of the Mexican GP, the 19th round of the F1 World Championship (already won by Red Bull's Dutchman).
The three-time World Champion recorded the best time of the session (1'18"686). Behind him, very close behind (119 thousandths), was the McLaren of Norris, once again in great form. Third time, however, for Leclerc (+0.266). The surprise? Definitely Bottas, who lapped with rather interesting times (fourth chrono of the session). Much more detached Sainz who recorded the eleventh final time.
The Monegasque è appeared competitive in all conditions. Especially in the race pace, the Ferrari proved to be there and, above all, to be able to hold the pace of McLaren and Mercedes, the latter a bit in trouble in the dry lap (Hamilton finished with the seventh final time).
