Olivier Giroud è is getting closer and closer to renewal with AC Milan. The Rossoneri club, in fact, seems willing to armor the French striker, due to expire in June 2024, for another year.
According to reports from 'Fantacalcio', the negotiations for the extension of Giroud's contract are well underway and the white smoke for the renewal could already arrive in the coming weeks. The Rossoneri center forward, despite his 37 years, è still the first choice in attack for coach Pioli.
The agreement between the Milanese club and the French footballer could close on the basis of a contract renewal until 2025 at around three million euros, a significant figure that testifies to the importance of the Milan striker in Pioli’s chessboard.
Recently, Giroud had expressed himself this way about the possibility of extending his contract with AC Milan: "Renewal? We’ll think about it in June, for now I want to do my best for Milan. I don’t plan but I’m fine here, and I’ve been happy here since day one".
