Today he tried to lengthen the exchanges, but I managed to earn a lot of break points and managed to use them in the third set. I am happy, è it was a mentally complex match but I managed to handle it".
"Definitely – added the South Tyrolean – è one of my best five matches in my career. Playing a final è always special, against Daniil even more; becauseé è an opponent who has beaten me so many times. Already in Beijing, however, I gained confidence, although compared to then today è it was a very different match".
"In Beijing,” Sinner explained, “there had been more serve-and-volley situations during the match, here I had to adapt to other strategies instead, but I am happy with how è it went".
