Juventus, emergency on the flank: injury for Weah
Juventus will have to do without Timothy Weah for the next league matches: the U.S. outfielder was injured during the match against Verona on Saturday night, and on Monday morning he underwent some tests at JMedical that confirmed the extent of the problem.
Weah sustained a low-grade injury to the semitendinosus of his right thigh that will force him to stop for the next few weeks: the player will have to miss the matches against Fiorentina and Cagliari, and will only return after the break, in just under a month, perhaps in time for the big match against Inter on Nov. 26.
Arriving this summer, Weah è immediately carved out a starting spot under Massimiliano Allegri, who now remains without role players on the right flank (Danilo and De Sciglio are injured).
In that role he will most likely adapt; Weston McKennie, as he already did in the past, although the stops of Fagioli and Pogba complicate everything.
