Paolo Ciabatti è categorical: "No favorable treatment"

During an interview to the microphones of the Spanish newspaper "As", Ducati sport director Paolo Ciabatti è expressed himself bluntly on the rainbow struggle between Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin, separated only by 13 points between them.

"Ducati è as proud of Pecco as it è of Martin. I repeat myself, these are two riders we decided to put on official bikes, with an official contract. They have exactly the same bikes and identical technical support. From our side there will be no favorable treatment, becauseé we believe that they are two guys who represent the present and the future of MotoGp" began the sport director of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.

"Jorge could have already been in the factory team, but Bastianini won four GPs last year and we had to put him in the factory team. But ever since we signed him in Moto2, Martin è a rider we believe in. Last season he had a bad crash in Portmimao, but è managed to show his great talent" continued the'former SBK sports director.

"The best will win. We must not forget the accident Pecco had in Barcelona and its consequences, but now we have a championship with two riders who are doing something impressive. They will have to control their nerves and keep their confidence high, knowing that they can do well. They are moreù strong than the others" commented Paolo Ciabatti.
