Ettore Messina shakes up his team ahead of the match against Monaco

Reduced by the home loss against Maccabi Tel Aviv, the fourth defeat in five games so far in the Euroleague, Olimpia Milano must redeem itself on Thursday against Monaco if it does not want to lose contact with the important areas of the standings already at this point of the season.

Ettore Messina knows it well and at the presentation of the match shakes his team without mincing words: "We come from three consecutive poor games – said the coach of the Red Shoes to the club official channels -, counting also the one played in the Italian championship, so we are called to regain the trust of our fans".

"We must play with courage, determination, spirit of belonging,” Messina added, “all characteristics that have always been present in this club and that this team must promptly recover".

Olimpia's roster in the Euroleague è has been lacking so far: so far the only success è that of Oct. 17 against Olympiacos, while defeats have come against Fenerbahce, Real Madrid and Alba Berlin on the road, in addition to the one in the Forum against Maccabi.
