Max Verstappen’s statements post Sprint Shootout
After getting the second place in the Sprint Shootout, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen did not hide his regret for the pole faded by 61 thousandths against Lando Norris, the accomplice of several smudges committed by the Dutchman.
"We were all close throughout the qualifying shootout. In the first and last sector of my last lap I was not perfect, I made two mistakes and was too slow in turn 4" began the three-time World Champion.
"It's always difficult when you only have one set of tires, you have to risk everything and when è so; the error è always around the corner. Today, unfortunately, I was not perfect and I made some mistakes. With the new rule in the pit lane I tried to get out quickly to recover some positions" added Max Verstappen.
