Charles Leclerc è remained already from the podium in the sprint in Brazil but è satisfied and optimistic ahead of Sunday.

"If we compare ourselves to our competitors, which are now the Mercedes, today was not bad. If we look forò Red Bull and McLaren are far behind. Especially McLaren seems to have made a big step forward and on all tracks they consistently go stronger than us in the race. We need to find something that we currently do not have in our package".

"We struggled in the first part of the Sprint becauseé there’was so much management to do for the engine and temperatures. Tomorrow by starting second we will have fewer cars in front and hopefully that will help us. Anyway, the feeling in the first few laps wasn’t bad, I knew it was going to be a long stint so I held back a little bit at the’beginning plus I had to manage the engine. In the end we were able to push a little bit more’ ".
