Milan, Arrigo Sacchi defends Stefano Pioli
Arrigo Sacchi unveils Milan’s problem
During an interview given to the microphones of the "Gazzetta dello Sport", former coach Arrigo Sacchi spoke bluntly about the difficult moment of AC Milan, whose last victory dates back to October 7 (1-0 over Genoa). In addition, the former Parma coach took a clear position on Stefano Pioli.
"The club is making the right choice in still trusting Pioli, because the fault is not è his. I think the main problem was the soccer market carried out in this summer session. I think the most serious mistake is upstream" began the former Rossoneri coach.
"I am convinced that having bought so many foreign players was a mistake. Those who come from abroad take time to understand our campiontate, game and methodologies. These guys seem confused on the field and the result è that Milan is not è always a team and individuals, also accomplice to the negative moment, are not able to make the difference as they did several weeks ago" added Arrigo Sacchi.
