Pecco Bagnaia adjusts focus: “To Sepang with confidence, I want to be in front”
The intention to sweep away uncertainties and doubts there'è.
Pecco Bagnaia adjusts his aim, and ahead of the Malaysian Grand Prix sends a clear message to Jorge Martin, Ducati and the entire MotoGP universe. "I am excited to return to Sepang, one of my favorite tracks. I have often achieved very important results here in the past. And I have great confidence again this year".
Bagnaia also wanted to revisit the problems he had in the last MotoGP rounds, which allowed Jorge Martin to shorten in the championship standings: "In Thailand, especially on Sunday, we found speed and confidence to be competitive. I am convinced I can do it again in Sepang, but it will be fundamental to go very well already in qualifying. I want to start up front, and although the weather as always will be an unknown, I am not worried".
Words of newfound determination, then, quite different from those released a few hours earlier that had caused some discussion. "Few riders have succeeded in the feat of winning two consecutive world titles, but being beaten by Jorge would not be synonymous with failure, becauseé we would still have had a very good season", had in fact said Bagnaia.
