Casey Stoner spends words of praise on Marco Bezzecchi
Casey Stoner open-hearted about Marco Bezzecchi
During the course of the EICMA in Milan, two-time World Champion Casey Stoner, during an interview given to the microphones of "FormulaPassion", he è expressed himself in no uncertain terms about the pilots he most admires stylistically.
"There are several drivers I like. One è always been Dani Pedrosa. When he races, he has a style that I really like. I remember the first three corners where I saw Dani riding in front of me, when I was a wild card in the Spanish championship. I remember admiring from the start his way of riding" began the'former Ducati centaur.
"Of the riders now, I like Marco Bezzecchi. He è can hold the bike and has a style that I am convinced would give him even more of an advantage if there were no electronics. He can handle the tires and he can find traction when others cannot. For today's motorcycle world championship, you are not completely able to show your potential because of the limitations there are with electronics, aerodynamics and so on. Overall, forò there are good riders" added the former Australian rider.
"I am not a big fan of the technique of taking corners by putting your elbow and pretty much your whole body on the ground. When you are very exposed on the inside of the bike, you can't push it up, instead if you have some space you can move your body better. If you are already all the way down, there's nothing more you can do. This è why we see many riders spend so much time on one side of the tire. This riding style can give you speed in the corners, but I prefer to be a little bit more dynamic and change the body position a little bit more,” Casey Stoner commented.
