Filippo Ganna confirms his goal

Filippo Ganna, interviewed by Sportal.it on the sidelines of the 'Giro d'Onore' of the Federciclismo at the Manzoni Theater in Milan, answered not only questions related to the just ended season and Five Circles expectations, but also to the hypothesis of a future as technical commissioner of the Italian national cycling team for Vincenzo Nibali.

"Nibali è has been a great champion of the sport and represents the world of cycling very well, as evidenced by his participation, in Trento, at the presentation of the Giro d'Italia. He's really been a great one. C.t. of the national team? We will see, who knows? At the moment with Bennati I feel good".

Speaking then about the season that just ended, Ganna said: "Now I am on vacation, I had to disconnect a bit': the season è went well, so many second places burn but just because they hurt it means that I care, that I have to improve to do even better. Going back I would not change anything, what had to be done è been done".

Next year is the Olympic Games: "The primary goal will be the time trial in Paris 2024,” Ganna confirmed, “the other goals will be established with the team. In any case I always run to play for it, you never run just to wear a number on your back".
