After taking fourth place in the Sprint Race of the Sepang GP, Ducati centaur Enea Bastianini, at the microphones of "Sky Sport MotoGp", dwelt on the decision not to attack teammate Pecco Bagnaia in the final laps of the race.

"I am happy, I had a good race even though I struggled a little bit at the beginning. I was a little bit uncomfortable, but after a few laps I was able to come back and had a good time. We still don&#39t know for sure why I had little feeling with the bike in the first few laps. Pecco is playing for something important and I did not want to take unnecessary risks. I stayed behind and was still happy with my race, I think it was the mostù right choice for the whole team" began the centaur from Rimini.

"If there had been a long race today it would have been a problem, so for tomorrow we have to figure out what è happened, but I think it will be; something that can be solved quite easily. This year it's very strange, because at any track we have to change a lot, so both Pecco and I struggle on Friday and then we manage to make up for it over the weekend. I think we did a great job and I needed the changes we made on the bike at the riding level. I am confident that in this season finale I canò be competitive" added the Ducati number 23.

On the team game of Bastianini has è also expressed himself open-heartedly the team manager of Ducati Davide Tardozzi: "I emphasize the fact that Enea has played another beautiful race and for him we must say "Welcome back", becauseé I am convinced that he will beà one of the protagonists of the end of the season. Before reaching the podium, I wanted to thank him for the teamwork, because é è it was clear that he had the pace to overtake Pecco. Today è was very fast and the respect he had for Bagnaia è was from a true team-player.".
